Lerai Safari Camp – Africa Eco Wilderness Group

Lerai Safari Camp is the only permanent safari accommodation in the 5,000 acre Olerai Conservancy of the greater Masai Mara ecosystem of southern Kenya. Barely 15 miles north of Tanzania’s Serengeti National park and just west of Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve, it’s an area teaming with African wildlife with migratory pathways for wildebeest, zebra, elephant and antelopes. Lerai Safari Camp was built slowly throughout 2018 to allow the wildlife breathing space to co-exist with us. Enveloped within a cluster of acacia trees (Lerai means yellow and Olerai describes the acacia tree), there is a nearby riverine forest stream drawing elephants towards camp.

Imagine riding a horse as impalas leap and gazelles graze around you. Africa’s famed savannahs ripple in the wind. Giraffes bow their long necks towards the acacia leaves. Elephants raise their heads and watch impassive as you pass. A horse safari is like no other experience. The thrill of being at one with nature never fades. You move freely amongst the animals as if you’re one of them. High on a horse, you ride through a herd of eland or spot a lonely topi atop a termite mound. You feel the sun-warmed breeze on your face, see the grasses rippling beneath you, and hear birdsong trilling in the trees.

The Mara is the northernmost part of the spectacular Serengeti-Mara ecosystem, home to the “Great Migration” and scores of other wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, elephants, rhinos, hippos, and crocodiles.We are an exciting company whose owners have over 50 years of collective experience flying balloons and hosting safari guests in the Mara, as well as other parts of East Africa. Our flights team is managed by director of operations, retired Captain Andrew Peart, who has over 25years flying experience. The Cliff Lake Nakuru – Africa Eco Wilderness Group

Perched at the top of a 100 metre high rock face sits Lake Nakuru’s newest and smartest addition – The Cliff – a 10 room luxury camp opened in June 2018. While ‘luxury camp’ is the simplest description, in reality The Cliff located inside the park defies conventional labels, being a combination of safari lodge, tented camp and boutique hotel, constructed and furnished in a contemporary European style.

Cliff Boat Safaris – Africa Eco Wilderness Group

The Boat safari package has been designed to a comprehensive photographic experience across some of the major highlights of Lake Nakuru National Park. In 2005 the park was branded a “Bird watchers paradise” due to the availability of the various bird species it hosts both aquatic and terrestrial. Approximately 450 bird species. It takes pride to be the first national park listed as an Important Bird Area (IBA) and an Endemic Bird Area (EBA) because it’s a home to hundreds of birds including the migrants, it hosts some endemic bird species and at least it’s a habitat for a percentage of flamingoes found worldwide.
